Applying for an online credit card
26 August 2008
After choosing an online credit card, is it worthwhile continuing applying for a credit card with an online application or should you call the credit card issuers that are offering the card? The answer to this question depends largely on how committed you are to your decision.
If you have decided on a budget or low cost online credit card, then calling the institution that issues it could end up changing your mind. This is because the person on the line may offer you other kinds of online credit card products, and they are likely to provide convincing arguments.
If you want to apply for the online credit card you chose to begin with, then applying for a credit card online could be your best option. There is no guarantee you will be approved, but you will at least have a chance at getting the online credit card you want rather than the online credit card that the company would like you to have.
