A prepaid online credit card can be a handy alternative to a normal credit card. Offering all the benefits of a normal credit card, with a prepaid online credit card, you'll be spending your own money. You'll incur no interest, only have a one off purchase of card fee, and you can choose from preset amounts or add to the amount online.
When making a purchase with your prepaid online credit card, you use it as you would a normal credit card. Swipe, select credit and sign for your purchase. Using it online, you enter the card number, expiry date and the last three digits on the signature panel.
Prepaid online credit cards are handy for personal use, business use and they also are a great alternative to gift vouchers. They allow the freedom of a credit card, but you also have the security of knowing that you're spending your own money and it won't come back to haunt you later with a huge debt.
